Image bank - reflection

Image bank - reflection:

I have chosen these photos because they clearly show the element of reflection. I think that the photos that I have chose all show a range of ways that reflection can be shown. Typically when I think of reflection I think of things reflected in a mirror not the other ways that they can be shown. a reflection doesn't need to typically show a exact replica of what is being viewed behind it a can show a refraction which will leave a distorted image. I.e my first image. I think that these images can help to influence my reflection work as they have opened my eyes to new ways of shooting reflection.

In the two images above and below, reflection is show by holding at reflective surface to the camera and photographing the reflection that it creates. In the image above the photographer has photographed a relocation through a wine glass. This idea is creative as a glass is not always the expected item to use for refection. This also makes the idea of reflection more fun and original. In the image below mirror are used to show reflection. This is creative as in the image you can see the person multiple times and in each a mirror is held up. Mirrors are a easy way to show reflection.

In the image above a object has been placed on  flat surface and to show the relocation. The sunglasses are picking up a reflection that is taking place outside the view of the camera. This is an interesting way to photograph reflection as you are able to see the object from the actual reflection alone instead of along side the object. This makes you see a distorted view of the object that is being photographed.

In the image above the reflection is place directly next to the thing that is being photographed. In this image a cat is laying on reflective surface.  The photographer has then got to the level to be able to photograph both of the elements. This is effective as in this image the thing being used for the reflection is not the main focus but the actual reflection itself is whats most important.
